At Nobis Montessori, we understand that the most important period in a
human being’s educational and emotional development are the first 6
years. The young child’s mind is that of an acute observer, eager to
learn, explore and master new skills.
Our Infant and Toddler Montessori educators and caregivers are
passionate about the young child’s first experiences.
There are many components to our infant and toddler programs:
Practical Life exercises include hands on contact with real, concrete
materials, beginning to care for their own needs, and eating
independently. .
Infants like to experience and discover cause and effect through a
variety of fine and large motor activities. As the infant begins to
grow, they begin to become very interested in sensorial experiences. We
also provide language materials that help the child gain understanding
long before they can speak.
Our program offers many self-directed opportunities to engage in
creative outlets in the areas of art, music and creative movement, all
in a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
